Model CA-43
is nearly identical to the original Tangley produced in the 1920's. It
plays a 10-tune "A" roll automatically with the movement of one lever.
Roll automatically rewinds at the end of last tune and replays. Music
rolls are available.
Built
for hard use, the Tangley®
Calliaphone®
will
stand up to years of "over the road" use in advertising, parades,
fairs, carnivals, circuses, etc. Only annual maintenance is recommended
and the reliability is proven with hundreds of instruments in use.

All
new materials are used including solid
brass
for
the voiced and tuned whistles, valves and trim. Cabinet is of heavy
wood frame with sheet metal covering, coated with a durable,
gloss powdercoat finish. The brass whistles and trim
are
protected
from tarnishing with an invisible coating of UV resistant lacquer.

All
models of the Tangley Calliaphone Calliope are offered with an optional
midi
system player in place of the standard A roll
player. Your Calliope can
also be equipped with both systems if you desire, as well as older roll
playing instruments retrofitted with the Midi Control Sytem.
